Microfiction Monday #71

Thanks Susan, at stonyriver for this week’s Microfiction Monday, where a story is worth 140 characters or less (including punctuation and spaces).  Here is this week’s picture along with my story:

No Where To Turn

The hall was dark and gloomy; Sandra knew that no door would lead to her freedom. The best she could hope for was a quick, merciful death.

  1. I am new to this micro fiction, but discovered your blog. After reading your introduction, I must say, I wouldn’t mind having you for a next door neighbor, as we would see eye to eye on many things. I have signed on to follow your blog. Please sign on to follow mine as well. http://lindaoconnell.blogspot.com/

  2. Sad, scary one for the day and I think this one has really stirred a dark side in a lot of us and it has really been interesting to read the stories for today! Then after reading Susan’s remarks about the pic, I felt it even more! Hope you have a great week!
