Microfiction Monday #67

Another Microfiction Monday, courtesy of Susan at http://www.stonyriver.ie/, where a picture is worth no more than 140 characters (think of a Tweet). Here is this week’s picture, followed by my story of 136 characters.

Mist and Tears

Every January the children revisited the pier, scanning the misty harbour and calling out their mother’s name. Salt tears fell silently.

  1. oh no how sad. It reminds me of “La LLorona” only in your story, the children are looking for their mother, not the other way around. You did good, loved it.
