Microfiction Monday #62

It’s time for another Microfiction Monday–where a picture is worth 140 characters or fewer, courtesy of Susan at http://www.stonyriver.ie/. Here is this week’s picture and my little Holiday story.

We’ve been following them for ages—when do we actually get to swat them with our branches and steal their presents? I WANT that piggy!

  1. You beat me to it. But I hadn’t read yours before I wrote mine HONEST! SO I can hardly say yours is brilliant without gratuitously praising myself!

  2. Still chuckling at this Sylvia, makes one think of the song “If you go out in the woods …..” The only thing missing is the Teddy Bears. I wonder if they will ever get their surprise.

  3. Oh Sylvia, how deliciously malevolent! HA HA HA

Most excellent! I always have suspected that inside those charming 19th century style drawings of cherubic children they were still . . . children. Wicked and selfish. You captured it perfectly!

    Merry Christmas!

  4. Oh, this reminds me to stay out of the woods just before Christmas!!! Fun one for the day, Sylvia!! Hope you have a great week and a very Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
