Microfiction Monday #45

Welcome to another episode of Microfiction Monday, where a picture is worth no more than 140 characters! Courtesy of Susan at stonyriver.ie, this exercise is sure to hone one’s editing skills.

Here is this week’s drawing and my microfiction to go with it:

“It’s elementary, my dear Watson; you should have read the fine print—‘This diet guarantees to turn you into a mere shadow of yourself’.”

  1. Hi, Sylvia. I find your micro-fiction very entertaining, but I originally found your site via WordPress, as I have a food blog featuring recipes from my grandmother, some no more than a few ingredients and baking times. I’ll stop by in the future to see more on your eclectic site.
